108 HOLY LAKES OF GOSAIKUNDA TREK
(April - May/ Sept - Nov: Grade3: 13 days).
A chance to view the 108 sacred lakes of Gosaikunda. An area steeped in folklore and mystery, set in the heart of Langtang National Park. During the august full moon, Hindu and Buddhists alike hold a festival at Gosikunda, called Janai Purnima. On this trek we spend time viewing as many of the lakes as possible.
ITINERARY
Day 01 : Kathmandu - Dunche (2,000 m)
Day 02 : Dunche - Syabru
Day 03 : Syabru - Shin Gomba
Day 04 : Shin Gomba - Gosaikunda (4,000 m)
Day 05 : Gosaikunda (day trip)
Day 06 : Gosaikunda (day trip)
Day 07 : Gosaikunda (day trip)
Day 08 : Gosaikunda (day trip)
Day 09 : Gosaikunda (day trip)
Day 10 : Gosikunda - Ghapta
Day 11 : Ghapta - Kutumsang
Day 12 : Kutum - Chissapani
Day 13 : Chisapani - Kathmandu
